Christmas in Tullibody

This Christmas we would like to celebrate in Tullibody like never before!

It has taken Tullibody Events Team a full year to raise the money to do this, but with lots of hard work and dedication – WE DID IT!! Thank you to everyone who donated to our fundraisers, or popped a penny in our tins located in local shops. We couldn’t have done this without your support

Join us on Saturday the 1st Dec from 5pm to switch on our Christmas Tree and Festive Lighting up at Tron Court.

Enjoy live music and entertainment from Alloa-Bowmar Pipe-Band, Christmas carols from our wonderful St Serfs Choir, dancing from Just Dance and special guest Alix Muir woohooooo!!!

Enjoy some soup and stovies from Tron Cafe, Hot Chocolate from Banchory Primary School Parent Council and home baking from St Serfs primary school parent council. mulled wine from Abercromby primary school parent council and candy floss from St Bernadette’s primary school parent council

Then we can all help Santa count down to switch on the Christmas tree lights 3….2…1……..

Huge thanks go to Coalfields Regeneration Trust – Scotland for their funding that got us started.
Thanks to Tullibody Cambus & Glenochil Community Council for donating the Tree lights and to Hamilton & Brydie Builders Merchants for agreeing to pick up our wee tree !
Thanks to Ochil View Housing Association, and Kingdom Housing Association for their generous donations toward the lights.
Thanks to Asda and to Clackmannanshire Council for their generous grants to help fund the activities and entertainment for the Christmas event … and for all their helpful advice and guidance in what we hope will be the first of many great Christmas Celebrations in Tullibody

Save the date for Saturday 1st December

The cost to purchase lights,  was £5,000 –  However the lights we purchase for the Tron Court can be used year after year and we hope to expand our project in 2019 in order to  include lights on Main Street, Tullibody Cross, Cambus and Glenochil.

The cost to have them professionally installed and then stored all year round will be in the region of £4,000, this is an ongoing cost each year so If you want to help us fundraise for next year just get in touch!!

We want to thank everyone who has helped us raise this money so far.  Wether it be a donation of money, raffle prizes, home baking or by volunteering. Every little bit helps us to reach our goal.
